Delivery & Returns Information
We use various methods for delivery and these are outlined below. Also shown are the expected timescales and information about item tracking, Orders over £100 will be carriage paid.
We use a variety of companies to deliver items and expect most deliveries to be delivered with 2 working days following receipt of your order. Smaller items are normally sent via Royal Mail and in most cases, a signature will be required.
Orders received before 2pm are normally dispatched on the day of receipt. As well as the email received when placing an order, you will receive and email confirming dispatch. If there is likely to be a delay in processing your order we will inform you promptly and act upon your response. Please allow up to 5 working days for receipt of your order before contacting us.
Next Day Delivery
For urgent orders we offer a next-day delivery service. Such orders must be placed before 12pm to get next day delivery.
Most courier companies provide us with tracking information. We will pass that information on to you allowing you to see an estimated delivery date and time. Please note that not all orders can be tracked in this way, and small items send via Royal Mail do not have a tracking facility.
The customer will be charged a restocking charge and the goods are to be returned at the customers own expense. The goods must be in a re-saleable condition and must be authorised by us. If packing is not complete no credit will be given. The customer must provide us with the original invoice, despatch note or other proof of purchase. All goods will be thoroughly inspected before credit is given.
Claims for shortages, damaged goods or incorrect supply must be notified within 7 days of receipt. No responsibility will be accepted after this interval as the goods will be deemed examined and satisfactory.
If item(s) are received damaged or faulty, no charge will be made and will be uplifted by Locks, Door and Window Fittings.
